Greasy hair, pimply pale skin, lank figure - that's the image of a geek we usually have in mind. For me, this kind of human is rather characterised by its personality and their way of thinking and lesser their look.
I didn't want to come up to this stereotype. So I decided to do a combination of an every otaku's anime dream girl and geek parts and mix it all with a wink.^__~ Finally, a little geek's heart is beating inside of me, too.^^
„50 MANGA BABES to draw and paint“ is an English How-to-draw book displaying fifty artworks of different women in manga style along with step-by-step illustrations, detailed descriptions and drawing tips.
I got the wonderful commission to draw fifteen of these "babes" (have a look at the right column). I had to meet following criteria: drawn in manga style, female character, view of the whole body, related to a topic/character type, no background.
This book is great and I can recommend it to all who learns to draw in manga style.
