Description: Okay, so I just got some Pearl Jam CDs today oWo finally and decided to do an owe to PJ .u. This was created to the piece: "Betterman" from their Vitalogy album. It's one of my favorite songs by Pearl Jame. Eddie's voice is so moving and his lyrics are very meaningful (as always). Anyway this is what I portray the song to be about >w<; I could be wrong...after all no one really knows what any song is about usually, accept for the artist who wrote it. To me the song is about a girl who is abused by her significant other. Their relationship didn't always use to be this way, and there was a time where she use to love him very much but now their relationship has taken a turn for the worse. She wants to stand up for herself and tell him it's over, but she doesn't have the strength nor the confidence to do so...thinking that she can't find anyone better than whom she already has, so she keeps lying to herself and others saying she's still in love with him, when all she wants is a way out. I used water colors and sharpie markers to make this...the coloring isn't that great I'll admit. I messed up on a few things...
