For these past few days, something has been bothering me. It's about drawing style and critiques from the viewers. We all have our own style in drawing and I think people should stop asking for critiques in their artwork.

It's because what we lack in our drawing and what we're good at are simply our style and it's something that only we have.

The closest example would be Picasso's drawing, it's an abstract art, it doesn't follow the proper human anatomy, but still it was good and it has its own style. So I think the same goes to all of us, we shouldn't be concerned with people's critique because we show our style in our art. Instead, we should be concerned about our own style and trademark than the similarities between our artworks with other artists'.

Critiques are pointed out when we saw something out of the ordinary, something we seldom see, something that are not our style. What I'm trying to say is, the viewers criticized in hope for the artist to change their way of drawing and makes an art that the viewers like. It doesn't sounds right to me.

Art doesn't have to beautiful because it's the way we express things using our style. So I really think we shouldn't criticize on someone's expression in art, or their drawing style and we shouldn't ask for critiques as well.
