Another random,mini sketch "portrait" I colored. Looks better to me than the Abby one...ah maybe cause it darker. Enclave Remnant character of mine. Maple aka "Twig" Fallout 3 OC . He is a tree minder. I havent reached Oasis yet since I havent played the game much (New Vegas came out when I just got into this game series so I am all into NV at the moment). didn't realize that there is a Tree Minder in the game named Maple. That's a little morbid-looking, I know XD Let me go ahead and get this over with: NEITHER I OR THIS PICTURE IN ANY WAY ENCOURAGES ANYONE TO MAKE ART OUT OF THEIR OWN BLOOD. I focused on it mainly, so there are a few things on Rowan I didn't draw, neither did I add shading. Other than that, what do you guys think? I know I still have a long way to go, but still... Anyway, this idea came up while I was looking through my gallery, and I realized, all my art is nice, but I don't have a single piece with real meaning and so I remedied that. I made an.. Interpretive picture, I guess you'd call it. Anyway, this piece depicts everything an artist gives for their art. We put our heart and soul (big bloody heart) into what we do. It's who we are (handprint), and all that we feel. When we're happy (smiley-face), when we're sad (little emo-face), when we're lost or angry (random sgwiggle under the handprint), and when we make mistakes (upper left-hand corner); all these and more inspire us to do what we do, even when others would have long-since given up. As artists, we can be perceived as weak, childish, or as someone who just wastes their time with doodles. Still we press on. All we are, all we have been, and all we will be: we give it to our art.
